Zellige & Bejmat
Born over a thousand years ago in the heart of Morocco, zellige is an art shaped by the earth and time. Heir to the Arab-Andalusian tradition, it finds its origin and soul in Fez.
Made from natural clay, each tile is fired, glazed, and then handcrafted using time-honored techniques. The nuances, subtle irregularities, and depth of color give zellige its unique, vibrant, and authentic character.
Present for centuries in palaces, riads, and iconic examples of Moroccan architecture, zellige tiles adorn walls and floors with a quiet elegance. Each piece tells the story of the patient craftsmanship and the transmission of a living heritage.
Today, zellige is integrated into contemporary spaces while retaining its original soul, offering a timeless, raw and profoundly Moroccan beauty.

Zellige tiles are handmade, piece by piece. It's a craft, far removed from industrial standards. The variation in color from one piece to another is what makes this ancestral craft so special.
